Preschool graduation is a BIG deal around here, despite the fact that Dominic’s kindergarten room is on the other side of the wall in his preschool room.
The kiddos entered to Pomp and Circumstance. I was already tearing up when they processed in. One veteran mom told me, “You’ll never survive high school graduation!” I’d like to think it was mostly pregnancy hormones, but she’s probably right.
They sang a song they voted on as a class and did the actions. Followed by a powerpoint presentation with 191 (!) pictures.
And what preschool graduation would be complete without the Harlem Shake.
Afterwards, we said goodbye to Ms. Barb and Ms. Judy who are heading on to new ventures next year. Each kiddo carried a rose up to them. It was really touching.
Cake and presents afterwards.
Couldn’t get Patrick to take a picture, so we subbed Joe in
And the cousins. We are so excited for these two kiddos to head to Kindergarten next year. Excited and a bit sad, honestly.
You’re off to bigger things, D-money! We are more than sure you will excel and thrive in kindergarten. Your kind, thoughtful heart and love for others and Christ will take you far!
