Six!

 

Dear Dominic,

Six!? How did that happen! We are so proud of you and the little leader you’ve become in our family. You are so reliable and responsible. We rarely hear you complaining or whining and you usually help out whenever asked. God gave you a good brain, as we say around here occasionally. You will be reading soon! You’re great at helping your brothers solve their problems, like how to share one toy among two kiddos or what to do when everyone wants to watch the same thing on TV. You still love creating and coloring and cutting and gluing. Together, you three big boys come up with the most imaginative games, usually involving superheroes. You are still enamored with all the things superhero. You talk about Jesus and God a lot. During the school year, I would drop your brothers off at Jena’s and leave you in the car before taking you to school on the days I taught. You’d tell me that Wednesdays were your favorite, because when it was all quiet in the van, you could just sit and listen to Jesus speak to you. Your little brain can remember everything and I’m amazed at what you remember about saints and the Eucharist and the Church. We know you will go far by staying close to Jesus!!
