Sometimes I type up entire posts and then push “Delete” instead of “Publish” and then, obviously, it takes me at least another week to retype the post.
Soooo….. here’s Patrick’s very-much-later-than-his-twin-brother’s birthday post.
***Reasons why I never post anymore: new baby, Thanksgiving, Luke’s back surgery, Christmas, New Years, sinus infections, stomach flu, another sinus infection….who cares? It’s not a top priority, although I’m trying to make it a higher one in 2014…doubtful***
Patrick, you are such a sweet boy. You are very outgoing and can make friends with most anyone. You are also a people pleaser. Sometimes, you spend an entire rest time cleaning and come upstairs and tell me, “Mom…I have something awesome downstairs that you are really going to like!” Last week you sat at the dining room table by yourself for an hour while the rest of your brothers played. When you finally emerged, you had cut, colored and glued together a paper flower for me and presented it with a big hug and “I love you, mom!” Your little brain is still very good at puzzles or anything where you have to put things together like the very adult game, Qwirkle. You can be found outside on your scooter whenever the temperatures allow with your very cute bike helmet. You love school and you’re getting quite good at your writing skills. It is such a joy to see you growing into a big boy! We love you!
