We sent the twins off to preschool last week. They are LOVING it! Neither of them were really nervous to go—I’m sure it helps to have your best friend with you all the time! When I pick them up, they fight the whole way home about who gets to tell me what and they correct each other’s stories.
They also love their teacher, Miss Jena!
Leo was pretty jealous at first that he didn’t get to go to school. He’s been carrying his backpack around with him wherever he goes—especially to daycare on Wed and Friday mornings (when I teach). We call it “daycare school” and that usually appeases him!
We’ve only had one morning together so far just the two of us. It was a dream! I haven’t had one kid at home for 4 1/2 years! I felt like I was cheating. We made/ate the batter to some cupcakes that morning.
Six whole week of that before we are back to the chaos of a newborn.
