We celebrated Easter at our house again, as per our Mach family tradition….yes, I said “tradition.”
The weather was perfect and we spent lots of time outside.

After bowling in the afternoon, we stayed up too late enjoying adult beverages and playing Quirkle. In the morning, we had LOTS of eggs to hunt, thanks to Jena the Easter Bunny. The favorite was the movie Frozen--we’ve been singing all the songs for a month.

We also had a hunt at the Church after Easter Mass. And then I forced everyone to get a very squinty family picture together.

This little lady is growing! Although she’s still in about the 10th percentile for height and weight. She loves playing on the floor, rolling all over the place and jumping in her bouncy seat. She is SO happy most of the time. Still isn’t sleeping too well at night, which is probably due to the fact that she WILL NOT take solids. She turned 7 months yesterday and she won’t have anything to do with them. Her love for bananas lasted about two weeks and now she’s on a hunger strike, probably protesting all the noise from her brothers.

We spend the weekend with my parents and enjoyed the zoo.

And for Mother’s Day, I told Luke and the kiddos that all I wanted was for everyone to be super cooperative and take one good family picture. It was 40 degrees and windy, but they obliged and we got a pretty good one for putting a camera on a tripod and hoping for the best. This one’s going on the wall.

Jackson endured the worst week ever. Monday, he was playing on the couch and stepped backwards and fell off. We have no idea what sliced him open so bad, but after debating and calling everyone I knew for advice, I did end up taking him to the ER for stitches. He was pretty brave.

Two days later I found a HUGE tick that had probably been there for 3 days. I yanked that sucker out and he has just finally healed. Again, he was much braver than I.

We hosted a gathering of friends for a fire pit and roasting marshmallows. There were 25 kids and 14 adults.

We celebrated our sweet Goddaughter’s 6th birthday with them. Love seeing all the kids play together!

Jackson and Patrick did their Kindergarten check ups. They both did finger pricks and four shots. It wasn’t fun, but they managed. Dominic came along for moral support. They are now ready to head to kindergarten!!
