Play time!

Here the boys are with one of their friends, Carter. He is a month younger than the twins, despite the fact that he is about 2 pounds heavier! Dominic probably would have liked to be in this picture, too. He is frequently asking to "hol one, hol one". He, as you might guess, though, isn't very gentle with them!

Dominic and Will are playing at the park. Our play group met there last week when the temps got to 90 degrees. The kids had a ball.

Sophia, from play group, is holding Patrick. He's her favorite, she reminds me often.

Dominic would be "ah-side" all day, if we let him. He keeps himself busy playing with balls and barking at the neighbor's little dogs.

Rub-a-dub-dub, Three Men in a Tub

Bath Time is quite the adventure now with the three boys. The twins are beginning to enjoy their baths, so we thought it would be a good time to get some embarrasing pictures!
Dominic is a little ham--he must have a little Mach in him!

We never were able to get a picture with all three looking at the camera, though.

Jackson and Patrick, pre-bath time.

Once he's all clean, mom and Patrick enjoyed a little snuggle time.

Growing Babies

Jackson woke up in a great mood, one recent morning. We got a shot of him making a funny face at dad.

Patrick and Jackson -- for the first time ever, we got them both looking at the camera at the same time--a real feat!

He is Risen!

The Mach family Easter was at our house this year! It was very fun and crazy, as usual!! Here's a few of the wild things we did.
The Family:
This Dominic trying to make paper airplane after Uncle Jake did it. You can see all the other attempts on the floor to his right!
Uncle Lucas is one of Dominic's very favorite people. Lucas can't get out of Dominic's sight without creating a flood of tears from his nephew.
Bowling:
Saturday we went to the bowling alley for what is becoming a yearly tradition. Dad won both games. Here the boys are discussing who they think throws the best gutterball.
Even Dominic got to get in the action. I don't know if this ball ever made it to the pins!

Getting Ready for the Big Day:
Gina and Lizzy decorated eggs for the Easter Bunny to hide. (Incidentally, he actually forgot to hide them in the morning....)
EASTER:
Before leaving for Easter morning Mass, we searched the house for goodies. Five days later, we are still finding candy hidden around the house. Dominic actually did a pretty good job hunting for eggs and putting them in his basket!
The Von-Mach family singers sang for the Easter Morning Mass at St. Elizabeth's. After Mass, I attempted to get a picture of the boys in their matching outfits...the odds of ever getting three little boys to sit still at the same time are slim to none, though!!
For Easter Lunch, we had Luke's specialty, beer-can chicken. Everyone was in charge of various parts of the meal--it all turned out delicious!!

The North Platte Deaver's first Easter with the new babies!

]We are are so thankful for the gift of faith and for our Redemption that was made possible by Christ's Saving work-His Passion, Death and Resurrection! Alleluia!!

My Three Sons

Though I wish I was one of those motivated mommy's, I'm not much for scrapbooking. (I doubt I could keep all of the supplies out of Dominic's reach anyways--Dominic likes to create his works of art on the keys of the piano or in the pages of the library's books, not to mention what he could do with a pair of scissors! Nothing is sacred in this house) So, consider me a blogger, instead.

Dominic is getting used to being the big brother. It took a bit of adjusting, but he is actually a pretty big help now! He can put pacifiers in screaming babies' mouths and pick up burp-rags when mom is occupied nursing.

He's talking up a storm now! Some of his favorite phrases...

  • Wha happen?--Usually referring to a broken crayon or food that magically traveled from his tray to the floor

  • Daddy dar--He points to Luke's car

  • Ooo snah--Fruit snacks

  • Jah-son and Paprik--his brothers

  • Boo-boo--Blue's clues
  • One, two, four, nine!

The twins are almost 10 weeks old. They smile quite a bit, now. Jackson is still pretty quiet (as far as talking goes), but Patrick coos occasionally. Patrick is about a pound heavier than Jackson, but they are both growing very fast! They LOVE to eat (especially Patrick).

Dominic loves to give hugs and kisses. Every child he can reach gets a kiss and a big hug if they come near him...whether they like it or not!

These are a few of the hats D finds to wear. Other favorites include: shoeboxes, pizza boxes and canvas bags.

Dominic put his sock and shoe on all by himself!! He was pretty proud.

Dominic loves to play hide-and-seek with daddy.

"Here I am!"
